- First name, Email address, Age range, Gender (optional), Partial postcode (first half only - optional) , Survey responses about your experience of the podcast
3. Why we collect this data
We collect this data to:
Understand how stories of collective action affect listeners
Analyse patterns across different age groups and regions
Improve how these stories are told
Inform future research and public-interest communications
Your email address is collected only to:
Ask permission for any follow-up questions
Clarify responses where necessary
We do not use this data for marketing.
4. Our lawful basis
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR).
You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, until your data has been anonymised.
5. Who we share data with
We share survey data for research and analysis purposes with the following partners:
Immediate (co-production partner)
Climate Outreach (charitable research partner)
University of Bristol (academic research partner)
These organisations act as joint or independent data controllers for the purposes of this research and use the data only for agreed research and analysis activities.
We use Google Forms to collect responses. Google acts as a data processor and may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
6. International data transfers
Some data may be processed outside the UK by Google. These transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. How long we keep your data
Identifiable survey data will be retained for up to 3 years
Contact details will be deleted earlier if no longer needed
Fully anonymised data may be retained for longer for research purposes

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and secure storage.
